Films

Laxmana has been conceptualizing and writing films for over 40 years. She has scripted 500 drama serials, tele-films and documentaries; some of which have won awards.

Her inspiration to make serials, films and documentaries has always been women, children and the downtrodden and how to create a better future for them. Since TV is the most powerful medium available and she has the power of her pen behind her, she wrote and created what she always wanted to say through pictures.

Though the major corpus of her work has been for Doordarshan, she has made several documentaries for Indian Ministries and International Agencies.
